Its quite tough to photograph these shy, strange, creatures, which are actually gnu’s, a form of antelope, related to sheep, goats and cattle. One sees blue willdebeests by the thousands all over the savanna, but they run from human contact. Their awkwardness, is quite fascinating really. Watching them cross rivers as part of the annual migration is a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle, which I will be posting at www.desktopsafari.com, in a few weeks.
